Shauni V. Williams, MSN, MPA, RN, PHN, CNS, FNP-C assists attorneys with the evaluation of medical records, identification of potential deviations from the applicable standard of care, and expert testimony when required.

Pre-Case Medical Risk Screening

Flat Fee: $3,500

LexiMed offers a Pre-Case Medical Risk Screening designed to assist attorneys in determining whether a potential case warrants further litigation.

This service includes:

• preliminary review of relevant medical records

• identification of potential standard of care issues

• clinical risk assessment of the care provided

• written summary of findings

This early review helps attorneys determine whether further expert analysis may be appropriate.

Case materials are reviewed only after receipt of a signed retainer agreement and required fee.

Medical Record Review and Case Analysis

LexiMed provides detailed medical record review for cases involving nurse practitioner care and primary care clinical decision-making.

Services may include:

• comprehensive medical record review

• development of case chronologies

• identification of potential deviations from the standard of care

• analysis of clinical decision-making and documentation

• consultation with retaining counsel regarding case strategy

Expert consulting services are billed at professional consulting rates. A detailed fee schedule is available upon request.

When appropriate, LexiMed prepares expert reports outlining clinical findings and professional opinions regarding the care provided.

Deposition Testimony
